Everywhere we go we hear and see phrases that say, “go with the flow.” Just like everyone else, this is one of my favorite phrases, yet one of the hardest ones to live by. I consider myself a very “go-with-the-flow” person, of course until there is traffic, or I spill my coffee, or I’m running late for something, and so on. If only I truly lived by these words, my life would be more peaceful. Though we cannot always control what’s around us, we can change how we view each circumstance.

This piece is my reminder of this concept, as it was created with no precision or planning. Like many of my other pieces, it began with no real end goal in mind. Therefore, it’s not perfectly symmetrical or neat, but neither is anything in the physical world.
